What code should we bill for the administration of the Zostavax vaccine? The patient picked the vaccine up at the pharmacy so we do not need to bill for the med.

Since this is a Vaccine, would you not use 90471. In Box 19 of your HCFA, add a notation to the effect that Patient given Zostavax Vaccine - you can add the CPT code also, if desired.

That is what I was thinking...but since there was once a specific code G0377 for this service, I wasn't sure if there was still a specific code out there. Thank You!
