Need a procedure code for "998.30" for post cataract repair of wound disruption, and is there a modifier for taking patient back to surgery?

Check your documentation against 66250 (Revision or repair of operative wound of anterior segment, any type, early or late, major or minor procedure).

If you’re still in the global period, modifier 78 applies for complication services that require a return to the OR. Keep in mind that Medicare only covers post-op complication services during the global if they require a return to the OR. Complications treated in the office are bundled into the main procedure payment.
