What is the correct way to bill for a Motor Nerve Conduction?

Annette Posted Tue 31st of May, 2016 12:46:40 PM
The office bills 95903 for a motor nerve conduction that is 4 units. Do you bill per unit? Do you use a modifier along with the office visit?

Hi, Units for CPT code 95903 are billed per nerve study. Also,if 2 tests(95900&95903;)are performed on the same nerve,95903 is billed. If they are performed on different nerves, used modifier 59 on 95900.
