Vulva, Lentigo Simplex

Annette Posted Tue 24th of March, 2020 11:02:38 AM
What ICD10 would you assign for Vulva; benign lentigo simplex, no atypia or malignancy identified. Thank you

Lentigo simplex is the most common form of lentigo. A single lesion or multiple lesions (lentigines) may be present at birth or more commonly first develop in early childhood. Lentigo simplex lesions may occur anywhere on the skin or mucous membranes. The appropriate ICD-10CM for benign lentigo simplex (Vulva) will be L81.4 (Other melanin hyperpigmentation).

Hope this helps!
