My Dr. used a TUR resectoscope to resect significant frondular growth of the prostatic urethra. Would I code this as a 52601 or 52204?

Well, CPT 52204 is for cystourethroscopy only, whereas ressection is being done. So, it is not the correct code. Use CPT 52601 seems appropriate or use CPT 52500 if it is performed for bladder neck. Hope it helps!
