Is there a icd9 that is more specified for CPT 52214 to describe hematuria from the prostate. Not varicies. 602.1? Or would it be better to use 599.70?

You can use both ICD-9 code 602.1 and 599.7X. 1 specify the condition and other specifies the symptom respectively, if there is no abnormal connection between prostate and urinary bladder. Otherwise bill only prostate hemorrhage condition code i.e. 602.1.
