Hi, My doctor did a transection of an inguinal nerve. Would 64774 be appropriate and would I need a modifier? He did a hernia repair some months prior..Please advise.

Yes you can bill CPT code 64774 for transection of inguinal nerve and there is no need of modifier for this.
