The Dr. did a hydrocelectomy and then an excision of that fistula tract. She excised a fistula that tracked to the left testicle that had no obvious connection. It was a solid, ropey structure that was just not even fibrous tissue. Not sure what code to select for the procedure. Thanks

You can use CPT code 55175. This code is for simple scrotoplasty. In this procedure, the provider repairs a simple defect in the scrotum, the pouch that contains the testes, or testicles. A scrotal defect can be either congenital, present from birth, or acquired during the patient's lifetime due to the development of excess skin or tissue damage due to trauma, infection, or other condition.
