Urology/bullet

Cherie Posted Fri 30th of October, 2015 06:53:10 AM

My Dr. took a patient into surgery and he had a bullet fragment in his penis, all he did was "express" it out. He then did a cystoscopy. Would I need an unlisted code for the bullet fragment?

Kindly bill 52000-51 and 54115

Even though there was no incision? (for the 54115)

In that case, I suggest you to bill 52 modifier with CPT 54115.
