Is the a limit to the number of units billed for 86256? I have searched several websites and can not find anything stating there is.

Hi, CMS states 9 Medically unlikely edits for 86256, which means a provider would report a maximum 9 units of service under most circumstances for a single beneficiary. Please refer to the following link for more details: https://www.cms.gov/apps/ama/license.asp?file=/Medicare/Coding/NationalCorrectCodInitEd/downloads/2016-07-01-MCR-MUE-OutpatientServices.zip Hope this helps! Thanks.
