A Unicompartmental Arthroplasty (main procedure) was performed to the bilateral knees and 99% of the procedure was done except the meniscectomy as described in the Coders Desk Reference of 27446. Will I have to place a modifier 52 on this?

Provider needs to perform arthroplasty by excising the damaged meniscus, which is not done in this case. So, you should append modifier 52.
