Two Supervising Physicians - one chemo administration

Loni Posted Fri 21st of August, 2015 17:28:43 PM

Please advise how to bill when one Oncologist begins supervision of Chemotherapy administration and another Oncologist in the same group is present when the administration is over.

Whose name is on the claim? The physician present upon initiation of chemo, or the one present to sign off on the administration?

Name of the Oncologist who initiate the Chemotherapy administration should be on the claim. As he initiates the administration and another one was just there when the administration is over.
