need help coding the following
RIGHT/LEFT Upper back/neck

PROCEDURE: 1.0 cc of a 1:1 mixture of 2% lidocaine/0 .5% Marcaine was injected with a 27-gauge 1.25-inch needle into several muscles in the upper LEFT /RIGHT shoulder/back area +/- neck. Muscles isolated were the rhomboideus major/minor, trapezius, splenius capitis, sternocleidomastoid.

Total number of injections:11

Total amount of lidocaine mixture used:11 cc

In this scenario, as number of injections has been injected to number of muscles, you should code only 20553. Local anesthesia is included in this service. If imaging guidance is performed see 76942, 77002, and 77021.
