Becky Posted Wed 02nd of December, 2015 15:41:46 PM

my doc also removed a 10 cm adenexal mass at the tome of this abdominal hysterectomy. Can I bill something other than 58150?

Since, you are coding for abdominal hysterectomy 58150 which states "total abdominal hysterectomy (corpus and cervix), with or without removal of tube(s), with or without removal of ovary(s)", the removal of adenexal mass is covered in this procedure.
Though, ICD-10 diagnosis code for adenexal mass (R19.09) can be used as a secondary code.
