Testicular Implant

Nicole Posted Tue 24th of May, 2016 14:45:30 PM
I am billing for an Ambulatory Surgical Center and there is a patient coming in for a testicular implant, bilateral. The CPT code is 54660 but is there a code that should be billed out for the actual implant? I am reading where some people say that the implant is included in the reimbursement of CPT code 54660. Also, the only implant code I am finding that could be used is the L8699- Prosthetic Implant, NEC. Any help would be appreciated!

I think the implant is included in 54660 and is not separately reimbursed.
