When a behavioral patient calls Clinical Physchologist because he/she is unable to come in to the office, can we still bill for the following with "9083.." with a place of service of "11"?

I meant when the patient calls in for psychology session with Clinical Psychologist because they are unable to come in to the office, can we bill the sessions using the "9083..." CPT codes with a place of service of "11"?

There is no CPT code for psychology sessions on phone. All the "9083.." codes involve face to face with the patient. In this case, you may use 90899 for unlisted psychiatric service and procedure, and provide supportive documentation that describes the psychotherapy on telephone. Hope that helps!
