suture a bleeding vein in leg

Leslie Posted Mon 23rd of April, 2012 21:06:49 PM

Phyician sutured a small vein in the patients leg. He is refering to it as a superficial vein ligation. However this patient does not have varicose veins and that is the codes that I am finding for ligation.
Can you please assist me in finding an appropriate code.
