SURGICAL PROCEDURES' MODIFIERS AFTER SURGERY

Daniel y Posted Wed 09th of April, 2014 16:49:26 PM

After Blepharoplasty done one month earlier, I billed 11900 with modifier 79, and 50. I also billed 68801 with modifier 79, 59, and 50 and I received the denial due to inconsistent with moidifer used. It was UHC. Can you let me know, what I did wrong?

Do not use Modifier 59 long with 68801.

The CCI edits do not show any bundling between them.
