I need CPT codes for: Lensectomy, extensive membrane peeling, retinectomy with relaxation of traction bands, internal drainage, total air-fluid exchange, endolaser photocoagulation, inferior peripheral iridectomies and injection of silicon oil. ICD 10, Dense Cataract and a total retinal detachment on the right eye Thank you!

Greetings from SuperCoder!

Please report the following codes:

  1. CPT code 67113
  2. Iridectomy is usually performed prophylactically. An eye filled with silicon oil, requires peripheral iridectomy to prevent pupillary block glaucoma. So you should not bill iridectomy separately unless there is a separate indication for doing so.
  3. ICD-10 CM code H26.8 for Dense Cataract
  4. ICD-10 CM code H33.051 for Total Retinal Detachment, right eye

Please feel free to write if you have any concern/query.
