Stop time for labor and delivery

Judy Posted Tue 25th of March, 2014 14:31:24 PM

Is the stop time for the epidural the time of delivery, placenta time, or the time the cath is removed?

If you are referring to anesthesia code 01967, the base units are 5 and the time would be whatever the local standard is in your hospital, but generally it is the time the cath is removed.
