Stent Removal

Nicole Posted Wed 09th of December, 2015 16:04:10 PM

Doctor did the following:

Cystoscopy, Retrograde Pyelogram, Ureteroscopy, Laser of Stone and Stent Removal

Would the correct coding be:
52353- Cysto, Ureteroscopy, Laser of Stone
52310- Stent Removal
74420-TC- Retrograde Pyelogram

But, the 52310 is considered bundled with the 52353 so it would not be billed out.

So final billing would be: 52353 & 74420-TC

Thanks for your query,

Yes, you are right at this point. The final codes would be 52353 and 74420-TC.
