Does 26180 cover the following: DIAGNOSIS: Recurrent right middle finger stenosing tenosynovitis. PROCEDURE: 1.Excision, reformed A1 pulley region. 2.Excision, superficialis tendon to the middle finger. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for your query. Based on the information provided, please find the answer below: DIAGNOSIS: Stenosing tenosynovitis, right middle finger. M65.841, Other tenosynovitis of hand and wrist, right hand PROCEDURE: 1.Excision, reformed A1 pulley region. Use 26055, Tendon sheath incision (eg, for trigger finger) with modifier 59, distinct procedural service. Modifier 59 is to be used because as per CCI edit 26055 is included in code 26180. 2. Excision, superficialis tendon to the middle finger- 26180, Excision of tendon, finger, flexor or extensor, each tendon. Thanks!
