Our speech therapist originally saw a Np back in December. That patient never came back for treatment until recently. Insurances will only pay for 92524 once every 365 days. Basically she had to do a whole new evaluation because the time in between treatment. She spent 90 minutes with this patient. Is there any other way we can bill for this besides the 92507.

CPT Code 92507 (treatment of speech, language, voice, communication, and/or auditory processing disorder [includes aural rehabilitation]; individual)is the correct way of billing. However, 92507 is not a time based code. Therefore, it will be incorrect to bill multiple units on the same day, regardless of the time spent with the patient. For more clarity please send details regarding the treatment performed.
