Skin grapft CPT from harvest site or surgical repair site?

Donna Posted Tue 13th of November, 2012 16:33:14 PM

Our occuloplastic surgeon harvested a skin only graft from the left clavicle and used it to close an operative right eyelid wound. Am i correct that the coding is for the repair site not the harvest site? (15260RT) The Doctor put it in as 15200LT. Who is correct?

You are correct.Only 15260 will be reported.Code descriptor itself says direct closure of the donor site.
