SHEATH PACEMENT RADIAL APPROACH???

Stephanie Posted Fri 21st of January, 2011 20:40:39 PM

WHICH CPT CODES SHOULD I USE FOR THE FOLLOWING CASE. A 5-FRENCH SHEATH PLACED IN RIGHT RADIAL ARTERY. WE USED A RADIAL APPROACH AS SHE HAD A SEVERE PAERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASE. LONG PIGTAIL CATHETER WAS PLACED ABOVE THE RENAL ARTERIES AND DIGITAL SUBTRACEION AORTOGRAM WITH RUNOFF OBTAINED.(DSA W/RUNOFF BY RADIAL APPROACH)
