Is it a revision rhinoplasty (30450) or primary (30420) if they have had a previous septoplasty or perforation repair, nasal fracture, etc.? What constitutes a revision rhinoplasty only a previous primary rhinoplasty
SuperCoder Posted 1 Year(s) ago

Hi Jennifer,

If provider had previous septoplasty or perforation repair code will be 30630/30520 depending on the documentation.

In next visit rhinoplasty will be billed as primary from range 30400-till 30420, again depending upon the documentation available. Please feel free to ask for any further query. Thank you.
