Typically when coding for laparoscopic or robotic sentinel lymph node biopsy in endometrial and cervical carcinoma, if done with a hysterectomy, the code for the hysterectomy is used plus the code for lymph node sampling, as follows:

Laparoscopic hysterectomy with/without BSO: 58571 (uterus <250gm) or 58572 (uterus >250gm)

Lymph node mapping (injection of non-radioactive dye): 38900

Retroperitoneal node sampling (this would apply to a situation where only a few isolated nodes were removed, example setinel lymph nodes): 38570

Hope this helps!! Thank you.
