For selective catheterization of right common carotid artery, CPT 36222 or 36223 is appropriate according to the angiography performed extracranial or intracranial part respectively; check your medical documents to clarify. For posterior cervical artery, if it is specifically vertebral artery then use CPT 36226. Radiological supervision and interpretation will not be coded separately with both the codes.
