There was a mass behind the testicle and the cord was dissected off the mass which was firm and thick. He drained the cavity. After which he dissected around the whole cavity which was quite large. he was able to completely dissect the cavity off. Irrigation of the scrotum was done and the testicle placed back in normal position. He is saying the cavity was an abscess, and he dissected the cavity that held the abscess. Not sure if this falls under 27047 or not...

The appropriate code would be 54512 (Excision of extraparenchymal lesion of testis).
