RHFMC Modifier 50

Chuck Posted Mon 03rd of March, 2014 13:05:19 PM

If I used modifier 50, do I place that modifier on both codes that are affected? For instance:

99203-25 (separate modifier)
69210-50 (left ear cleaning)
69210-50 (right ear cleaning)

Thank you!

No, only
(For bilateral procedure, report 69210 with modifier 50)
