Restylane injections for vocal cord paralysis

Kristy Posted Tue 01st of October, 2019 12:28:31 PM
We are just starting to use Restylane and Botox injections in our ENT clinic for vocal cord paralysis and spasmodic dysphonia. We use the code 31574 for the Restylane injection and 31573 for Botox. Can you also bill for the actual filler ( Restylane/Botox) ?

Hello Kristy,

Thank you for your question.

No, you should not bill separately for the actual filler (Restylane/Botox) along with CPT® code 31573 and 31574, since, the fillers are considered inclusive in the main procedure code.
