Remove Latera

Camille Posted Fri 13th of September, 2019 16:02:15 PM
When a provider must surgically remove the Latera Implant in the ASC due to complications, is 30310 correct CPT Code? Thank you!

Hello Camille,

Thank you for your question.

There are 3 codes available for removal of foreign body procedure on the nose (30300, 30310, 30320). Only 2 codes, i.e. 30310 and 30320 have ASC payment amount.

You are advised to go through the detailed procedure note to see the work performed on the billed date of service, to report the appropriate code
