What codes would you use to bill for removal of loop recorder that is EOL and physician implants a new loop recorder ? Would you use 33284 for removal and 33282 for new loop implanted?

There is no CPT code which describe both procedures (Removal and Implantation of new Loop Recorder) in single code. The appropriate codes for above mentioned scenario will be 33284, 33282-59.

As per CCI edits there is no conflict in between 33282 and 33284.  Code 33282 is a column 2 code for 33284, but a modifier is allowed in order to differentiate between the services provided.
