54512 is used for removal of the appendix testis due to it's size. Is this correct. This code is for a lesion. Lesion excision is not documented. I don't find a code for the removal of appendix testes. Is 54512 the best code to use.

Hi,

CPT code 54512 is used for Excision of extra parenchymal lesion of testis. Correctly stated that the code is for the lesion removal. However, in the above-mentioned scenario, excision of lesion is not documented. Also, the removal of appendix testis can be coded as 55680.
