Medicare beneficiary which also states when verifying eligibility, the member is a "Qualified Medicare Beneficiary"., but the member states does not have any other insurance. Can we then collect any balance due and advice the member to call Medicare and update the information?

Thanks for your question.

Since the member is a "Qualified Medicare Beneficiary" but does not have any card, you can charge the member for the covered services and you may advise the member to contact Medicare and update the information. If possible schedule the services after the member gets the card from the Medicare.
