Pressure Study - Manometry

David Posted Thu 12th of February, 2015 12:06:40 PM

We have patients coming in for an EMG (51784). During this visit we are also doing a Manometry, which on males we bill out as a 91122 it is done via rectum. However on females it is done via the vagina. What is the proper code to use for that?

If the provider is evaluating anorectal pressure using vaginal sensor, then also you will use code 91122.

Thanks !!
