power failure during an ESWL

Karen Posted Fri 10th of July, 2020 15:25:24 PM
We just had a situation where a pt was undergoing an ESWL when the facility had a power outage. The treatment was about 25% completed. Today the pt is undergoing another ESWL to complete the treatment. Would the first procedure need a 53 mod and the 2nd one a 52 mod? Just wanting to verify this is the correct way to code them. Thank you for your help
