Patient had a mastectomy and had to be brought back to the operating room to look for a bleed as she devoloped a hemotoma at the surgical site. The physician expored the wound for the bleed and cauterized two different areas. What CPT code would I assign for the re opening of the surgical wound with cauterization? This is for facility coding in a hospital. Thxs

It is suggested to code unlisted CPT 19499 with modifier 78.
