Is 42700 the right code for peritonsillar abscess drainage using a needle? No incision was done.

Code 42700 (Incision and drainage abscess; peritonsillar) describes a surgical procedure in which the surgeon makes an incision in the abscess to drain it. But here question is without incision physician drains the fluid through needle. You could code these two codes based on imaging guidance.

10021: Fine needle aspiration (FNA); without imaging guidance
10022: Fine needle aspiration (FNA); with imaging guidance
