PEG replacement with EGD

Maarit Posted Thu 12th of April, 2012 19:37:49 PM

The previous PEG had become dislodged. The only code for changing or replacing a gastrostomy tube is 43760, but this is w/ out EGD.

Would I use 43246, even though the same opening in the skin (from previous placement) was used?
