Pediatric Heart Cath

Michelle Posted Tue 16th of September, 2014 15:05:37 PM

Are there specific codes for pediatric heart cath that are different than for adults?

Thank you for your question.

The Cardiac Catheterization codes apply to Pediatrics as well as adults. You may append with a modifier if there were complications or the procedure took additional time that typically needed for the procedure.
