Patient Education

Nancy Posted Wed 01st of June, 2011 12:46:26 PM

Could someone please tell me how to code for an ARNP who is doing patient education for chemotherapy. The ARNP is spending anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes with each patient. Also what should her documentation look like? There is a huge discuss on what is right or wrong. Thanks as always for your help.

Please refer to the code range 98960-98962.
The description of each code will help you understand the way you should code.
