DR DID A PARTIAL EPIDIDYMECTOMY...CAN I BILL A 54860 WITH A MODIFIER 52 (REDUCED SERVICES) A PORTION OF THE TAIL OF THE EPIDIDYMIS WAS NECROTIC. THE LESION IN THE SCROTUM WAS EXCISED ALONG WITH SEVERAL CM OF NECROTIC SCROTAL SKIN. THANKS

Yes, you are right. CPT 54860 can be billed with modifier 52 when a procedure to show that the physician did not perform the complete procedure in the code descriptor. For the lesion of scrotum you can use the code range 11420-11426, select the code according to the size of excised portion of the scrotal skin.
