Parenteral controlled substances

In the Medicare table of risk it states that parenteral controlled substances are a high level of risk. Please see link:

My question is how many or how much would have to be given to the patient to select that level? Would one injection of morphine be enough or would we need multiple doses?

You need only one time administration of parenteral controlled substance to qualify for the level 5 MDM. And, it doesn't matter that provider has administered how much drug.

Thanks !!
