PAP - CERVICAL AND VAGINAL. NO ABNORMAL FINDINGS. REQUISTION HAS Z01.419 AND 212.4 CHECKED. REQUISITON DOES NOT STATE PT HAD A HYSTERECTOMY. WOULD YOU USE Z12.72 FOR A VAGINAL SCREEN? Thanks Annette

Hi,

You can use ICD 10 Z12.72 (Encounter for screening for malignant neoplasm of vagina) for Vaginal screening, even when hysterectomy is not performed.
