Cheryl Posted Wed 25th of March, 2015 14:02:19 PM

The surgeon made an approximately 5.0 incision above the right pubic tubercle continued through the subcutaneous tissue down to the external oblique which was opened down to the external ring. The ilioinguinal nerve was identified and an 1.5 cm segment was removed. Pathology found no mass, tumor or neuroma. The excision was done due to pain after distant past inguinal hernia repair several years ago.
