OCT with Eylea injection

Daniel y Posted Thu 04th of February, 2016 12:52:46 PM

I am getting OCT denial due to does not support this many/frequency of services from NJ Medicare starting December.
We used ICD 10 H35.32.

We always billed Eylea injection with OCT and had no problem until now.

Would you let me know if you have any information regarding this?

Thanks.

The code you have selected for above scenario seems to be appropriate please verify with your payer, regarding same issue.
Also, refer to guidelines on the use of Eylea injection as the reason for denial states there is some issue with the frequency.
