MY provider is performing bilateral inferior orbitomies with orbital fat decompression due to bilateral proptosis and I am unsure of the doe I should use. The closest I find is 67414 but it states bone is removed for decompression and in my case just fat is excised. Should I use the 67414 with a reduction modifier 52 or is there a better code to use. Thank You,

Hi,

67412 seems more appropriate to me, as 67414 describes bone is removed.

Hope that helps!
