OBGYN Unlisted procedure

Isam Posted Tue 30th of March, 2010 19:57:46 PM

Is there a limit on unlisted procedures that you can report per surgery encounter ?

No, there is no limitation of unlisted px, provided that the same code belonging to a particular subheading donot get reported twice. But it is often a good pratice to avoid an unlisted procedure because it goes through seveal process to get a reimbursement. Also a repeated unlisted procedure comes under a audit check and often 0% reimbursement.
