Hi, Can Cardiology practice bill for obesity counseling if provided by Pa or NP's as primary care? If so, can patient have two primary physician?

This is as per AAPC site :

According to the CMS memo (December 1, 2011), this is covered for eligible beneficiaries when performed by a primary care provider in a primary care setting. Check out CR R0409CP and R142NCD, as well as MLM article MM7641.

NHIC sent out a memo on 12/1/11, that indicates the same.

I will check out for some additional information for the reference.
